Writing in MDX

This guide is an MDX file. Markstage opens it like any post: you type the words on the page, and the parts that are code stay exactly as they are written.

Components are cards

A component shows as a card with its name and settings. Text settings, numbers and on/off switches change in the side panel; a setting that is code, like the chart’s data below, is shown as written.

What stays as written

The imports at the top, the saves list and anything in curly braces are code. Change them in Source mode, or ask a developer. A save never touches them: it writes back only the words and settings you changed.
